About the Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced API and SAP Process Integration\/Exchange Infrastructure (PI\/XI) Integration Expert<\/strong> for an immediate, critical project with our client. The ideal candidate possesses deep architectural knowledge in both API design\/security and SAP integration technologies (PI\/XI\/PO) and can rapidly translate business needs into technical designs and implemented solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • API Design & Architecture:<\/strong> Lead the design and documentation of the end-to-end methodology for robust API calls<\/strong> (REST\/SOAP), ensuring scalability and performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security & Authentication:<\/strong> Implement and manage security protocols, including designing and configuring the process for front-end user authentication<\/strong> through the API layer (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Development & Modification:<\/strong> Hands-on development, modification, and creation of APIs based on final functional and technical designs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • SAP Integration:<\/strong> Leverage expertise in SAP PI\/XI\/PO<\/strong> (Process Orchestration) to design and configure complex interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Technical Consulting:<\/strong> Provide expert guidance on integration strategy, security best practices, and system architecture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • 5+ years<\/strong> of professional experience in Enterprise Application Integration and API development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proven, hands-on experience in SAP PI, SAP XI, or SAP PO<\/strong> configuration, development, and monitoring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Expert-level knowledge of API design principles<\/strong> (RESTful, SOAP, microservices) and related tools\/gateways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Deep understanding of API security frameworks<\/strong> and authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with data mapping, transformation, and various message formats (XML, JSON, EDI).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Certification in relevant cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Azure API Gateway).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience in a client-facing consulting role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
